great! after more than 3 years of stacking with lots of diversity coins, this is one of the few coin i really like and and i don’t own because it’s not that common in Europe.

The ASW is .0563 oz - so it actually only takes 18 of them to make an ozT of silver. I always found it interesting that war nickels were 35% silver through and through - but the 40% Kennedy halves are clad - 80% silver on the outer layer, but only 21% in the inner core.

I’m 53 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with above $100M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify my portfolio.

I honestly just don't know. I HAD a goal of one ounce, got it, then I thought I would go for 5 since I loved the first one so much, then I went for ten, THEN I saw a 10 ounce bar ,my goal was wanting one, THEN I wanted to collect 10x10 ounce bars, then I wanted to have a tube of maples, buffalos, eagles, Libertads, generic rounds...then I wanted 10 tubes THEN I wanted 10lbs, realized I already HAD 10 lbs, so figured, lets shoot for 10kg.....THEN I was looking at all my tubes and I thought whoopie...each tube looks like a tube... same or close to same as every other tube...wow..that is exciting.... so I looked through all my tubes, picked out less desirable rounds and the worst beat up maple(s) gathered up what I would call "the silver I bought when silver was about 26 bucks (Canadian) when it was 41/42 Canadian and trade the ugly ones that I dont really care about or even look at because they were in a tube... and traded 20 less desirables (to me and YES I know weight is weight...) but I traded 20 of the ugly ones, for a 10 ounce 3 Graces (which I think is THE most beautifully struck pieces I have ever personally seen) and a 10 ounce Tudor beast. both of em are my favorites because they are absolutely gorgeous. long story a bit longer...since that, I have gone to and will continue to go to my LCS to get more and depending on how much money I have, will continue to buy probably til I die. I just love silver and have no idea what my goal weight is, I dont plan on stopping with the stack...I have my deep stack of ones that I wont sell for less than double spot no matter what ever... and my saving stack which is my one that is going to my son after I pass along with my deep stack obviously. ANYWAY, love your content, thank you for all your work and all the help you have given me and likely others :)

I'm nearing retirement and have had a goal in mind which was 2,000 ounces of silver and 50 ounces of gold. I'm close but not sure I'll hit it before I retire. Once I retire, I don't plan to buy any more, I plan to sell some occasionally to add some monthly income when I need it for a vacation or whatever. If I could do things again, I'd stack only Eagles, Maples, and generic rounds for silver (no holiday or political themes) and - for gold - only Eagles, Maples, Krugs. Instead I have a hodge-podge of various items, including those. Is there too much? No. Not if one can afford it. It's a great thing to pass down to your offspring. I had that happen for me and intend to do similar.

You need a little bit of silver to take with you when you pass. According to Greek mythology, “a single obol, a silver coin of the time, placed in the mouth of the deceased upon burial, as payment to the ferryman to cross over”

For me, there is no upper limit. My intention is to stack silver and gold for the rest of my life, then pass along the wealth to the next generation.

Everyone should have some savings as an emergency fund in case the worst should happen. If the roof on your house needed fixing how much would it cost for example? Would you have the cash to pay for it? If you lost your job how much money would you need per month to keep yourself going and paying the bills? Everyone should have at least 3 months of cash in a savings account just in case, ideally 6 to 12 months. Devaluation of the currency isn't bad. What is bad is wages not gone up with inflation over the last 45 years thanks to neoliberalism. I was watching a video on UA-cam about the national minimum wage in Georgia being only $7.25 per hour and he calculated that even in the poorest area of the state you need at minimum nearly $19 per hour at a bare minimum. Here in the UK the national minimum wage is £11.44 per hour which I think is $14.53 but living here is cheaper. In the US I don't know how people survive, they must be working 2 to 3 full time jobs just to make ends meet?

Gold - as much as possible Silver - not worth the time

My big food shopping is roughly equivalent to just a little over 2oz of silver. If the currency went down the tubes you aren't going to buy food with gold. Gold would be for expensive bills like rent payments or buying white goods(cooker, fridge, etc.). Silver would be for day to day living expenses. If things got so bad that the state fell and it was every person for themselves I am not sure I would want to live in that kind of world

Physical silver goes through a one way valve into my stack. The last time I counted my inventory was 2018. I trade silver and gold futures as a metals trade.

Speaking of bic lighters I got one for my wife Saturday and it was $3.29 for one at a gas station. Gas was cheaper than a lighter $3.11

Metals is just a percent of my savings. But my goal is 1 oz of gold and 60 oz of silver a year. Been into it for just over a year and am slightly ahead of schedule.

I know I own too much 85% of my Wealth is in metals. I have a legit ADDICTION, it’s not a joke eBay auctions are a serious problem.

I remember playing the slots in Vegas with silver dollars. I should have kept them instead of gambling them away.

I'm a 3rd generation stacker, and I've been stacking since 2003, as an adult and I use to earn dimes and 1/2s for doing stuff around the house and whatnot... I don't really count that though, but over all I had stacking goals back in the early 2000's and it was 1000 ozt of silver, and then I reached my goal back in like 2010...then I took a break from DCA ING, then started hitting it hard again in 2014, and made a new goal to hit 2k by 2024... Well fell short, that's for sure, covid hit my family hard, plus had some of my stuff stolen.. But long story short, I unfortunately ended up starting all Over again and have a gold of 500 ozt for normal minted coins like eagles, Maples, and britannia's... And 100 ozt of numismatic / key dates which is the ones I'm going to save the pass down to my kids.... And have a goal of 2030 to have this amount (600ozt total).. But want to get at least 10ozt of gold in whatever format... I just DCA $250 - $350 a month.... And honestly, even if I hit my goals, I'll probably still stack %90 and some BU / AU stuff to pass down to the kids as well... But one day I'm hoping to get enough to buy a nice RV trailer and truck so my wife and I can to the RV thing for a few years to find that one place / town that specks to us... But if anything, I'm just happy knowing it's there to hold onto especially during these uncertain times... Having to start over again has giving me a new perspective...

Even though people say the dollar has lost purchasing power, that's not really both sides of the story. That's because many incomes continue to rise or fall also. There are more people in poverty in the US right now, and more billionaires right now as well... regardless of the dollar's relative value.

At my age (70), and having just started stacking a year ago, my stacking goals are modest. I'm aiming to get 5 ounces of gold and 270 ounces of silver. I will be lucky to live long enough to achieve that.

I enjoy owning silver but it becomes cumbersome after owning a few bars since I am limited with the amount of safe space for it. The goal is to own gold and holding numismatics, though that also requires speculation of markets.

I only started buying silver a few months ago. My initial goal is to get enough silver to trade up to a gold eagle, rinse repeat until I have enough to cover 3-4 months worth of bills. Once I get around 6 eagles I will probably add approximately 300 ounces of silver for my core stash. Then just keep adding after that. Almost ready for my first gold coin as long as the prices hold lol.

I have reached my goal of silver stacking ... now I just buy 2 oz per week ... not stopping just slowing down now.
